Esperance Creative
Esperance (es-per-uhns): the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best
At Esperance Creative, our mission is to facilitate the development of professional and aspiring professional creatives and the professionals who support them in a boutique, non-corporatized environment, and to engage meaningfully with social issues related to literacy.
Our target clients include, but are not limited to: writers of fiction (and editors, cover designers, agents, publishers, and the like!), gallery owners, craft show organizers, paintors, sculptors, woodworkers, anyone identifying as an aritsan or craftsperson, etc.
Our services
Reading
Sometimes you need help at the beginning of a project to get feedback to get an idea of the next step for the project or so you can make the most of working with a developmental editor. Sometimes you need help at the end, after the editors have done their work, when you need a final set of fresh eyes. No matter what your needs are, we can help.

Websites
We believe nothing should stand in the way of you and your dream, including setting up a website that can serve as the public landing space for your creative brand, and the introduction to you as a creator. We also believe your time is best spent creating, so we’d like to help make the most of your capacity by developing your brand and website for you, leaving you free to do more of what you love.

Consulting
As a professional or aspiring professional creative, you are a brand, and your brand is your business. Many creatives need support in this area with developing their mission, conceptualizing their brand, understanding how to run their business, learning to track expenses, and more. We offer hourly consulting to help with all of this and more.

“A creative life is an amplified life. It's a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life”
– Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love
A note about pricing
Affordability should never stand in the way of your dreams. If the pricing listed on the site is out of reach for you, please contact me and we’ll work together to get you what you need, on a budget that’s doable.
(Available to individuals who have a legitimate financial need.)
Coming soon! The Esperance Creative Collaborative
A closed community for current and former Esperance Creative clients to come together in a media agnostic space to collaborate, connect, and build community. So many creatives don’t have anyone in their corner, or they have one or two people only and don’t feel like they can rely on them for all the things they need. This will be like a collective group chat—friendly and supportive—but in a non-invasive space people can come to when it works for them.
In the meantime, check out our resources for creatives.
Inclusivity Pledge
Many creators identify as BIPOC, neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, or other marginalized or underrepresented voices. At Esperance Creative we pledge to uphold a culture of non-discrimination and anti-racism that is welcoming to those who identify as neurodiverse. We strive to create a safe space for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, color, religion/tradition, gender identity, gender expression/presentation, neurodivergence/neurotype, (dis)ability, impairment status, national origin, sexual development, sexual orientation, and anything else otherwise not listed. Intolerant, ignorant, or otherwise hate-based speech is not welcome here.
